Overview
Since its founding in 1993, the Campbell Museum Foundation has raised funds to support education, exhibits and preservation projects. Thanks to our endowment and fundraising efforts, including events like Holiday Teas, Tours, and Summer Concert Series concessions, the Foundation has made significant contributions.
The City of Campbell owns and maintains the museum buildings and collections. Museum staff is responsible for running programs, curation exhibits, preserving artifacts, and all museum operational activities.
The Foundation collaborates with Museum staff to help offset operational costs, advocate for the museums throughout the City and Santa Clara County, and support the Campbell Museums in their mission.
Each year, the Foundation provides $10,000 in scholarship funds to local schools for students to participate in Hands-On History programs at the Campbell Historical Museum. Since the scholarship's launch in 2008, it has benefited thousands of students, allowing them to engage with local history.
Additionally, the Foundation supports the creation of quality museum exhibits by funding professional designers, interpretive panels, and exhibit cases. We also provide ongoing funding for preservation projects based on museum staff recommendations.
