Join the Campbell Museum
Foundation Board!

We invite passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors and play a vital role in preserving and sharing the rich history of Campbell. Membership is open year-round, regardless of residency.

 

As a volunteer board member, you will:

  • Contribute your time, expertise, and leadership to support the Campbell Museums.

  • Help shape the future of the museums through advocacy, fundraising, and strategic planning.

  • Collaborate with fellow history enthusiasts, community leaders, and stakeholders.

  • Play an active role in outreach, events, and educational initiatives.

  • Gain a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on Campbell and the greater Santa Clara Valley.

Board Member Roles & Responsibilities

  • Participate in monthly Board meetings, actively engaging in discussions and decision-making (12-15 hours annually).

  • Serve on at least one committee, contributing to projects and initiatives that align with your skills and interests (5-10 hours annually per committee).

  • Support the Campbell Museums by volunteering, attending events, advocating for the museum community, and leveraging your expertise to help achieve the Foundation’s goals.

  2. Connect with us! A Board member will reach out to invite you to an upcoming Board meeting as a guest and/or schedule a 1:1 conversation to answer your questions, learn about your experience, and discuss your interests.

  3. Become a Board member. The final step is Board approval of your membership.
